Lessons:I have a well developed and proven lesson program. Whether you have
never seen a horse up close or you have ridden for years and would
like to take your skills to the next level I can help. I tailor my
program to the needs of my students. I only teach private lessons as
it is Applewood's philosophy to make you a better horseman not just a better
rider. I teach dressage, jumping, english, western, as well as
barrels and poles. Whether it is your 1st time on a horse or you are
showing every weekend I can improve your skills, improve your riding,
and improve your placings in the show arena.
Lessons on school horses:If you don't have a horse of your own I offer the opportunity to take
lessons on one of my wonderful lesson horses. I teach a 30 minute
format where I tack the horse, warm him up, and cool him down. You
simply step on, experience 30 minutes of formal riding instruction, and
step down a better rider.
Lessons on your horse:If you would like lessons on your horse bring him to me or I can come
to you, provided you can line up 4 lessons at your facility. I can
help you with equine behavioral issues as well as human
mis-communication issues.
